The Walmart Foundation provides opportunities that improve the lives of individuals in Walmart communities. Walmart Fighting Hunger Together program is the latest event comes from this Foundation, they are aiming to made a $2 billion commitment through 2015 to hunger relief efforts.

The Walmart Foundation is focusing on education, workforce development, health and wellness, environmental sustainability. Other than the hunger relief program, The Walmart Foundation is also offering the following programs: scholarship programs, state giving program, national giving program and facility giving programs. Each program has different goal and program requirements, but all of them are committed The Walmart Foundation focus area.In 2012, Walmart and the Walmart Foundation gave more than $1 billion in cash and in-kind contributions around the world. This includes $1 billion in cash and in-kind gifts in the United States and $82.2 million in cash and in-kind gifts in international markets.

You can apply for grants on the site, whether it’s a small grant to a local school or a large grant to a hunger relief organization working across several states, the Walmart Foundation will satisfy you.

    I have a foster care home near your Walmart store in Barceloneta Puerto Rico. We are in need of grocery and any thing that the children can use to go to school. I some time have up to 6 children and some that are of age but have been here for more then 6 year have finish school but haven’t found a job it.
