AARP Life Insurance Program Customer Service

The AARP membership brings Life Insurance Program and Lifetime Income Program among other things. The AARP Life Insurance Program from New York Life Insurance Company offers a range of valuable life insurance choices to protect you and your loved ones for a lifetime or a set time period. If you are one of New York Life AARP customers, you are able to reach its customer service for your account information.

AARP Life Insurance Program Customer Service Instructions
As a customer, you can manage your account online or by phone. Go to Customer Service page to sign in or register if you haven’t enrolled in online access.

Visit www.nylaarp.com/service and put in your Contract Number, last 4 digits of your SSN, and date of birth. Click “Send”. Follow the directions to access your online account.

Now you can access information about your contract and make changes or request information quickly and easily. If you have a current, in-force New York Life Insurance contract for the AARP Life Insurance Program, you can check your contract coverage information, make a one-time payment, enroll in Automatic Premium Payment, change your address, complete Beneficiary/Payor/Owner change forms, or send New York Life AARP a message.

Use the left navigation to “Manage My Payments” or “File a Claim”. You need to enter your UserID and Password to manage payments, or sign up for this service by providing your contract/group number and the Owner’s 5 digit zip code. Be advised that your account will be locked after 5 unsuccessful log-in attempts. No fees apply using this service.

You have the option to contact New York Life AARP by phone at 1-800-850-2658 at 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. (Eastern Time) Monday through Friday, or 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.

    I receivced a bill for an increase in premium payments from $85.55 to $133.96.
    This is a bit steep…I would like to discontinue the rider on my policy.
    Please resubmit a new premium policy.

    I just got my bill and it was not up my coverage. I called you in Aug.to increased my ins. coverage, you sent me papers to fill out and I did and sent them back because my birthday was in sept. and you said the rate was different after my birthday then I was on vacation and bill did not flex the new rate. I would like to know what happened.

    TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN,

    I HAVE BEEN CALLING AARP LIFE INSURANCE PROGRAM/NEW YORK LIFE (My contract number is A8959474) AND AARP REGARDING MY MEMBERSHIP CARD! NO ONE CALL ME FROM NEW YORK LIFE OR AARP AT ALL. I PAID NEW YORK LIFE $55.00 AND $16.00 WAS SUBSTRACTED FROM THE $55.00 FOR THE AARP MEMBERSHIP WHICH I NEVER RECEIVED. SOMEONE AT YOUR OFFICE NEED TO CONTACT AARP TO FIND OUT WHAT GOING ON! IF I DON’T RECEIVED THE MEMBERSHIP CARD BEFORE 6/15/17 I WILL CANCEL MY LIFE INSURANCE AND MEMBERSHIP WITH AARP AND I WANT MY $16.00 BACK!!! I WILL CONTACT THE “BBB”.

    this message is to notify you why i have canceled our life insurance polices with you.contrace no. a0124734 and a0124735, i checked after 22 years about dividends and paid up aditional insurance on the policesand was informed that there was none. payment opon death would be 5000 on the permanet policies.. i have paid you people over $20,000 for these 2 $5000 policies. i have insurance with prudential and once a year i receive dividends and additional paid up insurance. you sure know how to rip people off. imalso going to notify aarp about this situation so other people don’t have to go thru the same thing.

    My brother Larry e Austin is the owner of my life insurance policy as i can not afford to pay my premiums the last 10 moths and he paid them for me and he has always been 100 percent beneficiary and he will continue to have the 73.98 deducted from his account and will be the owner of the policy number A7967123 the policy is his ownly as he pays the premiums every month,what does Annuitant mean as aarp already knows he is my power of attorney and 100 percent beneficary and sined papers were mailed in making him the only owner of my policy and he alone makes automatic payments, please call as on more downloaded change of ownership to him as he needs to know if he has to fill out anymore papers or me and which ones do i fill out as he should not have no more to do
